Ciekawy dokument US Army - instrukcja używania ubrań ECWCS GEN. 3: http://coldweatherclothing.info/GEN3ECWCS/ETM084917.pdf
Co mnie zaciekawiło:
1. Clothes should fit loosely for comfort. The more layers used, the more warm air will be trapped. Tight clothing will also prevent air from being trapped between your body and your clothing. It is the trapped air that keeps you warm, not the clothes. Several thin layers working together will work better than one thick layer alone
2. W deszczu i temp. +10st. gore-tex już ma nie być używany, tylko soft-shell.
3. Bardzo ''amerykańskie'' instrukcje ''TROUBLESHOOTING'' :) - np. ''SYMPTOM:
Clothing size is too big. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Replace system with one of correct size.''
