Edit do mojej ostatnie wypowiedzi.

Gore has replaced XCR fabric by Pro Shell back in 2007. While the waterproof-breathable membrane remains the same for both, Gore has made some significant changes:
- Lighter: Pro-Shell liner is 50% lighter (approximately 60 g saving over a regular size Gore-Tex jacket) since it has replaced the XCR's knitted liner fabric by Gore Micro Grid Backer technology aka. a closely woven liner. Another 20 g are saved over a regular size Gore-Tex jacket by using narrower seam tape, which also blends in better with the liner for a neater appearance.
- Greater mobility: new fabric has a slicker surface which means it glides over inner layers more readily. It feels softer and more flexible than its XCR equivalent, simply because the liner is thinner.
- More durable: again the liner's closely woven liner has a tighter weave than the old XCR liner.
- Better breathability: The sweating hot plate test (ISO 11092) has shown that Pro Shell has a lower RET (evaporative resistance of a textile) value than XCR. Lower value = better breathability.
Jutro kontaktuję się z Hi Mountain w celu wymiany.
